The ELConfig utility allows you to change network parameters for Ethernet Link enabled devices. For example, set a static IP address that matches your network scheme beyond any potential DHCP assignments. If you have a Whozz Calling? Deluxe unit, you may need to set which call records are sent for your application needs.

1. Click the link above to download the mac-vct.zip file.
2. It will auto-extract into your Downloads folder as macVCT.
3. Open that folder and launch the VertexConfigTool application (gear icon). You may have to use the right-click “open” selection to allow access.
4. It is important to keep all the files in the data folder in the same location or your application may fail to run.
5. If VCT fails to launch, try simply moving the entire folder to Trash and download again.

The Vertex Data Simulator determines whether an advanced feature of the Vertex, called Station Routing, can be used. If the Caller ID module within your application software collects Caller ID independently at each workstation, and your workstations use static IPs, then Station Routing is available.
